GOODBYE FROM THE BLURB AND BOOKS FOR SCHOOLS

We’re sad to say that the Books for Schools campaign has now come to an end, and what a year it’s been with 6 and a half million tokens being collected, and over 150,000 free books sent out to schools across the UK throughout 2009.

From The Blurb and all of us here at the Books for School team, we would like to say a massive thank you to all the schools, pupils and parents for being a part of this great campaign. Thanks also to the businesses, friends, families and members of the public who supported their local schools.

We hope that you now have library shelves bursting with books and that you have enjoyed delving into new facts, fictions and adventures with the free books from the Books for Schools campaign.

Just like The Blurb, always have a good book to hand and let reading take you to places of knowledge, learning, imagination, and of course fun and enjoyment.
